The Klamath Water Users Association (KWUA) is seeking a results-oriented, strategic professional to serve as its Deputy Executive Director, with a focus on Programs & Project Management. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a critical leadership role in supporting the Association’s mission by overseeing and managing programs, technical initiatives, and key projects that affect water users and stakeholders in the Klamath Basin.
This is a unique opportunity to guide and implement programs and projects that directly impact complex, precedent-setting western water policy and resource management initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a skilled program manager and systems thinker with a background in natural resources, policy development and implementation, and/or program administration and experience overseeing large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders. This role involves significant cross-agency coordination, internal planning, and coordination with stakeholders, elected officials, member districts and the Associations Board of Directors.
