18th Annual Fall Harvest Tour
Tentatively Scheduled for October 1, 2025
Hosted by the Klamath Water Users Association
About the Fall Harvest Tour
The Fall Harvest Tour is a unique, day-long journey into the heart of the Klamath Basin’s agricultural community. For nearly two decades, the tour has offered community members, policymakers, educators, and business leaders an inside look at how agriculture and environmental stewardship work hand-in-hand across Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Participants will travel by bus with expert guides and guest speakers, exploring local farms, irrigation projects, and restoration sites. The experience provides first-hand exposure to the crops, infrastructure, and people that make agriculture in the Basin possible.
2025 Focus
This year’s tour will highlight the intersection of agriculture and sustainability, with a focus on how farmers, water managers, agribusiness leaders, and educators are working together to ensure both agricultural productivity and environmental restoration.
Participants will see examples of:
- Ongoing efforts in water and land stewardship
- Local harvesting operations (weather-dependent)
- Partnerships supporting wildlife conservation and wetlands restoration
- The role of education, workforce development, and community collaboration in sustaining agriculture for the future
A full agenda will be shared with participants as harvest schedules and weather allow.

- A window into the regional economy and food systems powered by Basin agriculture
